That was 3 1/2 years ago. I wonder how the AI apps would handle the same experiment now. They’ve improved a lot in that time. It would be even more interesting to pit a couple of them against each other and see which delivers the best suggestions and instructions.

So, to answer my own question. 3 1/2 years later and ChatGPT is still okay at picking components, but not that good at building a PC. “The GPU has to go in at an angle…”??!
