I then ordered both from Amazon US and I got the first one fine, but the 2nd one, they sent a menstrual cup instead of what I ordered. I’m assuming it was the seller on Amazon that was trying to get rid of some thing that wasn’t selling and didn’t think I’d return it all the way from SA (they were wrong).
There was some other things that I originally checked on the Amazon web store as well, but I can’t remember what. The above was specifically what I was looking for.
Their rep for returns across their different territories is pretty. I have gotten a voucher from the US store for the courier missing the by latest delivery date.
Used the SA store twice now. Both deliveries inside 24 hours.
Nice that you’re still getting 24 hour delivery. Takealot seems worse at that now. Previously I would still get an in-stock, CPT item to JHB the next day, or the day after. Now it takes several days.
I should use Amazon ZA more.
First time I’ve seen Amazon advertising on tv. Was watching enca now and one of those side banners pops up with Amazon winter sale, R200 off first purchase.
I used my R200 voucher on my first purchase there last month or so. There was an issue with the order, I think it borked the shipping address. IIRC, I chose a shipping locker, but I cancelled and started over because I wanted to change something else, and it flipped back to my delivery address without me noticing.
Took forever to find, but I found a chat option, and they were very helpful. I said I’m worried I’d lose the R200 voucher, and they said it should still be available if they cancelled the order and I started a new one, but they’d make a plan to get me the discount if anything went wrong.
Got my stuff delivered to the locker and got my discount. Aside from the cart issues, I was happy with the support afterwards.
