ARC Raiders

Needless to say, I’m loving my time but this is a great explanation.

How are you handling the PVP?

Also how does it play at 250 ms vs people with 50ms ping? I read that you cannot avoid snipers with our ping, they hit you before you get in cover, even though you think you are in cover.

I’ve been playing solo exclusively. Of which I would say around 7 or 8 out of 10 engagements have been of friendly/neutral nature or intent.

Not sure what my ping is but I am constantly having a hud icon on screen. But I would think the the ping is closer to 150ms. Nevertheless, I haven’t felt cheated or handicapped as a result.

Went topside a few times with @Hiro last night and it is clear that groups are typically out for blood.

@Shrike, these are my stats to give an indication of my PvP interactions which are very low as I have been playing solo.

I’m finding that people will generally play solo if they want to grind and scavenge, and play groups when they want to engage in PvP and or take down larger ARCs.

Those stats aren’t accurate, though. I definitely killed a player that was trying to ambush me, and it did not show up in those stats. That said, I agree with your assessment; there is some PvP in solo’s, but a lot less. In spite of that, last night our trio had two run ins with other teams that ended peacefully, one time 5 of us extracted together.

Was a fun couple rounds. I played on after you logged off, on my attempts to secure those damned lemons. Managed to get 2 and then ran down to metro. Called the train and got on then some douchebag shot me. He was about to knock me out when the extraction completed. Thank goodness there is that long windup animation before you finish someone off.

But still, what a doos. We were literally on the train, he was not gonna have a chance to loot me anyways.
