Everytime i watch aris, i slip into a fake ass italian accent, and the wife is like, wtf is wrong with you
Yessa, the dowforca isa very good now, you might need to tchange a little bit your driving habits aldyr.
And pronounce circuit - sea-kwit
The update looks awesome and apparently there is a bit of a buff to the Lexus which Iām very pleased about!
Iām watching the rest of his stream now and he said sea-kwit as I read your post
Although itās a bit better now, itās sur-kwit.
I am only happy for my team mateā¦ Not for others!
I think itās time to give this silly game a go again. Iām probably miles off pace, but it did feel good to drive now. No cooking clue whatās changed since the century ago, that I drove it.
Also, the only sim, that I get to use all the knoppies on the button box
Also going to jump back in next week
So my first race since the update was 80min of Mt. Panorama. Perfect place to get used to the new tyre and physics model
One thing is for sure, your times will be that little bit slower, around .5s slower at least. This was true for the whole field. You also have to take a lot more care of your tyres. I had some trouble with the rear stepping out in the race at the last chicane (after the long straight) which hadnāt been an issue in practicing with full fuel. I felt like I was driving on ice. In the end, setting the ABS and TC a notch higher helped to stabilise the car - so Iāll have to be doing some learning to drive again.
Stepping out on corner exit, mid corner or entry? I wonder if changing brake bias during the lap, would help this.
Mid to exit. I did shift the bias a bit forward as well so that probably helped too
Itās got a lot to do with how the tires heat and cool now, core vs surface temp, etc. You have to really put effort into keeping the tire temps in the window, a few degrees either side or optimal will have you sliding all over the place.
Tested out ACC in VR with FSRā¦ DLSS FTL, FSR FTW!
I can see an immediate improvement if I run the game in VR High with my 980TI and set FSR on to Performance, Balanced or even Quality.
Ya it seems that the FSR implementation works really well.
Trust AMD to support the Nvidia cards that Nvidia doesnāt support lol
Nvidia has released their own version of FSR now. I think itās called Image Scaling and works on all cards from the 900 series onwards.
Is there something that I have to do, a setting I have to apply, a switch I have to toggle, to get the Nvidia FSR thing working? (Canāt remember what itās called. DLSS?) Or is it is just there automatically when you apply new drivers?
I personally havenāt noticed any difference to any games Iāve played recently, so am really curious about what should be done?
I probably should move this over to the Tech Support topic, except I canāt figure how to do that on the phoneā¦ .
Itās a per game thing AFAIK. For ACC, you go into video settings and find DLSS(or FSR for me with my old card) and enable it.
