Assetto Corsa Competizione

Oh? I need to check that out.

Have any of you tried low fuel motorsport?
They basically implementing a licensing system like iRacing for ACC.

I’ve been racing personally and it’s pretty cool. They even have daily races

I’ve seen some guys talking about it, they’ve had only positive things to say. Will check it out

So @DarthMol and @oltman I was able to do a 1.42.3 with M4 GT 3 on Kyalami just now with the new tyre model of course, but Lexus is still quickest time

That’s pretty good since with the new tyre model, times will be between 0.5 and 1 seconds slower so it’s pretty much the equivalent of your time with the Lexus

That good and all, but what is the Bentley time???

This was really entertaining to watch.

I cant help but feel the Lambo was faster, but it means nothing if you cannot get past the other car

The Lexus is just too quick in the straights to just get passed lol

Yep the Lambo was definitely the quicker through the corners and probably overall but as Jay says, the Lexus just powers down those straights, even when its exit is not as good. That acceleration has saved me many a time when I’ve been defending.

I did some Low Fuel Motorsport races last night - first racing in ages and I was definitely a bit rusty. The GT4 race went okay, despite being spun after some contact (racing incident) and I fought back a few places. The GT3 race at Nurbs was a different story. The start was chaotic and I threaded the needle pretty well only to spin myself out into the barrier, dropping me down to last. I had some good battles after that but an unlucky incident ahead of me that I couldn’t avoid meant pitting for damage, and even then another error dropped further back. Overall, I lost ELO points and a bit on my safety rating, but not too bad considering.

Hey guys I really need to get into this game.

Oom Omar, first thing I suggest you do which has given me so much more feeling through the wheel is change wheel rotation to that cars rotation

Small update for ACC

Download may be only 400mb odd, but the game changes need 11.6GB!

What magic is this???

I see the DLC’s are on discount, which should I prioritize in getting?

Considering getting:

  1. Intercontinental GT Pack
  2. British GT Pack
  3. GT4 Pack

Inthat particular order, one by one, as they go on special. Thoughts?

I would skip the GT4, and invest in more tracks for the GT3. ACC does great with both classes, but the varied tracks and updated car models just makes more sense to me

Valuable 2c in my opinion, thanks for the input.

  1. Intercontinental GT Pack = 4 circuits (incl. Kyalami and Mnt. Panorama/Bathurst)
  2. British GT Pack = 3 UK circuits (incl. Donnington Park)
  3. 2020 GT World Challenge Pack = 1 circuit (Imola) + 2 cars (Ferrari 488 GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT3)
  4. British GT Pack = 11 GT4 cars (which you’ll use only rarely because GT3 is so much better  )

It’s the greatest tragedy that the GT4’s are so unloved. They are some of the most fantastic cars to drive in the game and the racing is usually a lot closer than with the GT3’s. Also with the 4’s being less aero dependent a few scrapes won’t affect your lap times.

That said, since you’ll struggle to find lobbies for GT4 races you will get more use out of the track packs. So @GregRedd’s order is the best to follow.

For me I’m glad that Low Fuel Motorsport has a GT4 league so I can race them more often, but that won’t apply to those driving on console, sadly.
