Dice's Battlefield 5 firestorm battle royale mode is set to drop in 10 days time.
It has been rumoured that the mode has been primarily handled by Criterion games, of Burnout and Need for Speed Fame and will have a 64 player maximum count.
I think the fact that you have to buy the game will seriously hinder the amount of people giving this a go. I guess you could subscribe for a month of Origin Access Premier to give it a try if it seems to be worth it.
Well seeing as Firestorm is just another gamemode in BF5, i can see why it’s not F2P. I really want to say i agree with the majority that Firestorm should be F2P but how would EA monetize it if they did decide to go that route?
I would think cosmetics, right? but if you’ve played BF5 you’d know the current cosmetics in the base game is kind of dull.
