usb wireless dongles have become rather cheap. any local pc store worth its salt should supply you with it. they come in handy 
I had one it worked great for about a month but then the performance just went down hill.
Can vouch for that
for them being cheap or for their performance going down hill 
Just watch out for the dirt cheap Chinese ones. Bought two, only to find out that the MAC address on both were the same, returned one and got another one. Same issue.
Cheap=poor performance
Its just a weekend, so nee fok, not spending money - borrowing a lan cable from the other brother, hopefully it will be long enough

you can get a tp link one for like under R150, they’re pretty solid. only issues we’ve had is the clients we gave them to basically broke them off physically during a move. even then one was still working despite the plastic cover being torn off

I’ve used the cheap TP link ones and they seem to work fine for office stuff. Also tried gaming off one of those small mifi devices when my adsl died and did a good enough job as a temprary measure
And its appreciated - but it seriously means I have to go to the shops - not today thanks aka I am lazy

Does anyone know of a backup program that I can use to back up the boss’s laptop to an external drive - Oopsbackup or similar -
easeus todobackup
you can backup or clone a drive with it
i use 10.6 at work there’s probably a new version out already
