Truth. I spent 10 years in building a product for a company that made a killing on licensing fees for many years. Problem is, I left (together with the whole team) and founded a new company. That product hasn’t seen any innovation in the past 5 years and is slowly dying a stagnating death. Thing is, in that time I earned way less than my peers at other companies who jumped ship every 3-5 years. It’s a lesson I learned and manage it effectively now by paying the devs the worth the clients see in them - if a client is willing to pay more for a dev, he/she gets a higher salary. Our billing ratio stays constant, so if we make more money, the people putting in the hours do as well.

No offence to any and all, but holy crap, Jehovah’s Witnesses are irritatingly persistent. And it’s not even a Sunday. They honestly do their cause more harm than good by behaving like real world telemarketers.

Morning people of the palace
The pup decided to throw up again last night. So I was up half the night, she ended up sleeping next to me on the bed. No idea what is causing the being sick, I still suspect she ate something she shouldnt have.
