Beating Off 2.0

I am jelly their food sounds good

That is what we ate on Saturday

I have a nice bamboo steamer, so steam the dumplings, make the potstickers in the pan, fry some wontons and spring rolls, as well as springonion pancakes.
I am not a huge fan of steam buns but we finally got the good ones, and they are awesome. Normally I have 3 or 4 kinds of steamed dumplings. the weird green ones was new, steamed cream cheese and spinach.
I normally just make a dipping sauce with soya sauce and some sesame oil. Or garlic and soya, or soya and honey with a touch of rice wine vinegar.

Their food is AMAZING…
And has ALWAYS been great.

I am just trying to not have deep fried again.
I used to get a veg and noodle thing or rice and veg at one stage. That was great, for the life of me, I can not rememebr what it was though…

That is a chow mein, noodles with veg and meat
Try any of it.

They are good at adding veg to all things

What the hell is wrong with me? After being sick the past couple of days, I’ve been famished today. I picked up the Tuesday special at Brazen Head this afternoon for myself, wife and mother in law. It was 200g steak, egg and chips. Wife and mother in law weren’t too hungry, so I ended up eating TWO of the meals!

Not only SOUNDS like it, LOOKS like it as well. Well, not really… I’m actually more active down here than I was up in Gauteng. I have a walk with my son most days, sometimes even more than once a day, especially on weekends. So I’m getting loaded up on Vitamin D (sun) as well - bonus.

We’re really enjoying Cape Town, specifically the Blouberg area. We’ve always liked it for holiday reasons, but it’s even better living here. I’m even willing to endure the 40min commute to work due to loving the area so much. We’re actually at the point where we’re considering putting our house up for rent when we’re back in Gauteng next week and looking for a longer-term lease inthe Blouberg / Big Bay area…
