Wow that reminds me of my Honeymoon. In Costa Rica we went to this place every morning. Where we got bacon, that if you dropped it from 15cm onto the table it would shatter. Amazingly crispy and have never seen or tasted anything like it again

Its actually difficult to get bacon perfectly crispy without any burnt or chewy bits

I read somewhere that you should start cooking bacon by putting it in a cold pan and then turning on the heat. This allows you to cook the bacon slowly, etc. Don’t know if it actually works though.
