Try giving stuff away for next to nothing and then not respond to a PM for 48 hours.
“OMG, it’s a scam. so and so is trying to scam us, look at the rating. People like that should not be on the forum”
then you get two or three admins/moderators contact you with “Why are you trying to scam members?” type messages.
I’ve not successfully bought or sold on Carbonite ever, and this is not for lack of trying. Before buying a graphics card, especially second hand, I’d like to see it working BEFORE I hand over money. Very trusted member there refused to prove it was working, so I called off a deal. Then I get attacked for being a “time waster”, like really now.
Get a senior member to facilitate. I have helped numerous members with deals. Some senior members have a greater than thou attitude. Which does not aid in getting more new members.
It’s a moot point, no longer in SA, and just not really interested in trying anymore.

True that
Is it nap time yet?
Studying at work is putting me to sleep
Been in a conference all day. I’m really starting to fall asleep.
nou’s ek honger
i have noticed the spare rib flavoured fritos tastes just like a corn version of the steers flavoured simba chips
Never tried either
good news managed to get hold of the carbonite guy, case is still available but the grills are sprayed red so that will require being sprayed black again.
I can do that for ya - that is easy to fix
If you lot see any of these please tell me:
I tried using Carbonite once as well. Had the same experience and gave up. Contacted the “gods” there for assistance and nobody even bothered to reply to my message. I now recommend that everyone stay far away. If you’re THAT exclusive and hostile to new members you can keep your stupid community until it eventually caves in on itself - as it should.
Oh, and I’m back from a 2-day trip to Cape Town for scouting out a large new client with the vision of opening a branch there early next year. I believe it went quite well.
Morning everyone. I’m looking for a new To-do list app. I’ve been using Microsoft Todo which works fine, but it’s limited in scope. I’ve played around with Todoist, but it’s expensive to run if you want the actual features that makes it more than just your average to do list app. Been eyeing Toodledo as it has IFTTT integration, but the features I’m looking for is $4 per month.
I just use google task list which is built into the gmail app, it is linked to my google calendar and all my documentation on google drive. From reading your post though it probably does not have all the sync and async features you are looking for.
Yeah it’s very similar to MS Todo. Which is serviceable at the moment, but if I want to really get into GTD (Getting Things Done) I need something a bit more robust and feature rich.
What features are you looking for? My wife and I use Wunderlist. It’s basic, but enough for what we need. I’m looking at Toodledo now, it looks great. Might try it out for a while.
Trello is a good service, but has no notification and context system that helps further categorize tasks and list items
Wunderlist does seem like an interesting alternative, and I also see that Microsoft has invested/bought their system, as it has extensive Todo integration. It seems to have the features I need, just need to test it out and check the pricing if there is any.
I only started with Toodledo today, but already I see a lot of features I like and need. One thing is this adding context tags to tasks, assigning tasks to goals and the granular notification part is what I do like about Toodledo at the moment. But need to spend more time with it. Plus it is completely GTD compatible, which is primarily what I’m looking for.
