Only if you still have the files kicking around. If not, don’t sweat it (unless you try my sauce, then you’ll be sweating )

I had the chance to participate at a hot sauce expo this coming weekend, but I passed it up since i only had a couple weeks notice, and my plants just aren’t producing enough yet. I’ll definitely be going next year though.

I’ve made a few very small batches this past month or two, and haven’t used the labels since I’m only selling to friends at the moment, but I’ll get there soon. One of my friends orders bottles in bulk so I’ll be placing an order next time she orders to split the shipping costs.

My latest two sauces are pineapple based, and the other is mango based. Pretty good imo. When’ll we have the have the technology to lick your screen to taste something other than the dust and fingerprint grime on there… I’d love you all to be able to try some without shipping costs.

Maybe we Cape Tonians can place a joint order to save on some shipping costs, alternatively PM me the details as I would like to support, even if only a small order.

I like the way you think!

I’m making a batch from superhots this week sometime too in case there’s any brave/stupid people out that way

I’ll get back to you soonish. Thanks!

What’s on the menu? I love the flavours of hot sauces, but I don’t take/use them for the burn, though I don’t mind it, but I most definitely prefer to taste things.

Right now, I’ve got a sweet pineapple sauce made with real pineapple and aji pineapple chillies. It is medium-hot.

I do have more aji pineapple chillies and I have a bunch of others that should be ripe in time to make a batch of … whatever…

Plus all my frozen chillies I have to process. I’ll probably make a batch of taco sauce, which should be hot.

I do like to dabble, and I’m thinking of doing a mango sauce too.

In short: I always make sure the flavour is good regardless of the burn. I have made one or two batches I wasn’t happy with, but I learned my lesson on those and won’t repeat the mistake (I basically watered it down)

Sure, pineapple and mango sound amazing. How much per bottle and can I have an account?

To give you a sense of my threshold, I love the jalapeno Tabasco and most hot peri-peri sauces. I can handle hotter, I just prefer the flavours over heat. For example, mother-in-law masala is overkill for me.

I’ll bring some samples with me so I don’t over-power you  I typically charge R60 a bottle, but of course we can work something out. I’m sure I’ll still owe you after all is said and done with what I’m asking for graphics.
