I suck at driving so much that I rather run everywhere. It is less painful on the reloads when I clip a civilian.

My framerate takes a hit everytime i get in a car/bike and start getting any kind of real speed…really sucks. also the fact that the navigation map doesn’t zoom out when you going faster doesn’t help either, so i end up being slow to react to sudden 90degree turns

I’m having the same problem the turns tho. Can’t react fast enough. My frames drop a bunch especially when it’s night time (not like alot all at once. 10 to 15 frames at least) On badlands however no drops at all.

Did manage to finish all the NCPD crimes in progress and collect all the Tarot cards. Just finished busting Evelyn out the BD den

I have started now on all the side quests - good grief this will keep me busy for a looooooooooooong time. I haven’t bought a new car as of yet since I still despise driving in this game.

Haha, I’m the same. Whenever I have to drive anywhere I first try with the controller because keyboard driving is so terrible. Not that it always helps - sometimes the controller doesn’t work properly and I can’t steer or accelerate and land up doing backwards in straight line and getting stuck somewhere. It’s glitchy AF at times.

CDPR management need to make sure all the developers and artists who worked on the game get their salaries, bonuses and all the crunch overtime that they are due before they pay themselves, and well before any legal challenges are filed and accounts are frozen.

Luke Stephens makes some solid videos and really does his research.

Just realised and tested that I can do every single combat encounter without a gun, blade or even armour on. It is insane. On the plus side everything that goes down is not dead :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

And no, its not stealth, I suck at that.

Okay, so I know it’s not a direct comparison, but this is taking criticism a little too far in my opinion.

That is an utterly disgusting and unnecessary analogy to make in any circumstances. To make it about a fecking video game that didn’t turn out the way you expected is just pathetic and infantile.

To make it about a video game made by Polish developers in Poland, a nation that lost over 6 million people to Nazi atrocities, is just despicable.

While I agree with your sentiment whole heartedly, perhaps they are none-the-wiser?

Regardless, I completely agree that that statement is blatent and completely inexcusable.

I couldn’t agree more. As World War 2 goes further out of human memory, I fear these kinds of flippant comparisons will happen more frequently.

The First World War was the war that showed us all that war for war’s sake was a senseless waste of life. “When the rich wage war, it’s the poor who die,” as Linkin Park sings.

The Second World War was the war that reminded us that some wars need to be fought.

To compare a video game to Hitler is beyond ludicrous. It’s callous, careless, and downright disrespectful.

(For those who might not know the context, TIME didn’t name Hitler the Man of the Year as a positive award. The TIME founder said at the time that the Man of the Year award was not an honour. He argued it should be applied to the newsmaker that most influenced world events for good or ill. Here’s the text of an article explaining it — https://time.com/5573720/hitler-world-influence/

Hitler appeared on the cover of TIME on multiple occasions — most famously perhaps on Jan. 2, 1939, when he was named Man of the Year. That choice abided by the dictum of TIME founder Henry Luce, who decreed that the Man of the Year — now Person of the Year — was not an honor but instead should be a distinction applied to the newsmaker who most influenced world events for better or worse . In case that second criterion was lost on readers, the issue that named Hitler dispensed with the portrait treatment that cover subjects typically got. Instead he was depicted as a tiny figure with his back to the viewer, playing a massive organ with his murdered victims spinning on a St. Catherine’s wheel. Underneath the stark, black-and-white illustration was the caption, “From the unholy organist, a hymn of hate.”)

The writer throws this parenthetical in there to excuse their comparison:

(And no, we are in no way comparing a bad game to history’s greatest monster, but if you’re looking for an example of when an “award” isn’t really an award, Time kind of set the standard back in ‘38.)

Yeah, no.

What kind of skills have you guys been focusing on? I tried the breach and nethacks focused skills, and it’s pretty awesome. Haven’t even maxed it yet, and it’s killing everyone without needing to even enter combat.

Exactly what I did, maxed it all out, got the best deck I can buy and all my hacks legendary crafted. Nothing gets in my way. Best of all, its all non lethal, so it speaks nicely to my moral sense. I now have spare points just heaping up, no idea where to spend them since I don’t need anything else.
