Cyberpunk 2077 — We Have a City to Burn🔥

They can’t seek medical help when they are dead ;-P. Anyways, was more tongue in cheek than serious. I play plenty games where I am a mass murderer in the name of some cause or other.

How are the bugs in the game so far? have there been any noticeable changes and improvements in the updates they have released?

Haven’t had crashes since 1.0.4. Still have the odd NPC hold nothing but shoot someone, or drop a body on the floor that bounces up like it’s a trampoline, and the driving AI is useless, and I don’t mean Delamain. I also wouldn’t try to save during a main story sequence, it may not load properly. Still, it is hella fun

The only real bugs that get to me are the ones that stop you from completing sidequests sometimes. Otherwise it does great. The funniest thing is that “killing” someone with hacking in one shot makes the body stand in a pose and then it suddenly falls when you walk by

Finally back home so getting back into this. I completed the game last night with what I assume is a bad ending (there was literally just an hour or two left to finish the game since I stopped before going away). Going to reload an earlier save now and choose a different path at the main fork.

My game has been very stable for the most part. They really should have focused on releasing on PC first and then releasing on consoles a bit later. They might have had less drama that way.

I think I’ve done all the endings now. About 4 or 5 of them. I like how the path that you take near the end completely changes the end game and ending. Hopefully the game gets some story DLC like they did with Witcher. I’ll wait for that before starting a new playthrough.

All in all, I’d say that I’m happy with the game. Even though I’m not a fan of first person games (or even the genre), it was a unique experience and I think I mostly enjoyed it.
As I’ve said before, had they simply focused on PC at launch or simply not deployed to legacy consoles at all, the launch might have gone over as a success.

Good to see this summarised in one article, and Schreier adding several sources to the leaks we’ve already seen on Reddit and such.

The leak(s) on Reddit did paint this picture, and when Cyberpunk released in the state these leaks predicted their authenticity was all but proven.

Found this super interesting, but then again it’s up my alley, I enjoy reading, watching, listening to analysis and case study content.

I hope they spend time on more important things, than fixing the HUD. It should have been done, when they were planning the UI. Quite frankly, if you’ve played at least 4 hours, you know what’s what on the HUD. If you don’t, you really weren’t paying attention.

I will say, the inventory system is a total fuckshow. Menu system lacks info, where it does give info, it’s sometimes wrong. Submenus are a pain, and not at all clear about which items functions or info are related to. She should have spent time critiquing and making suggestions on that. The inventory system will literally suck your free time from you, because of console-centric yet terrible god-awful design. Leave the HUD, it’s good enough.

While I’m losing my shit over this game. WTF is every damn game got hold button to perform action. Every time I see this, a puppy dies somewhere from a chicken bone. Can we agree, dying puppies is a bad thing?

Hmmm, I wonder how much the ransom demand is for. Good on CDPR for not giving in to the threat. Bad on CDPR for allowing themselves to get into this situation in the first place.

“Investors will lose trust in your company”

Pressure from the investors to release an unfinished game is one of the biggest problems in the first place…
