Blizzard Entertainment announced that it will release some of its classic games on GOG.com, starting with Diablo.

Man, I’m tempted. But every time I try to play the original Diablo I just can’t get past how slow the walk speed is.

A. This isn’t a remake, strictly speaking, but a re-release. Blizzard has announced a remake of Warcraft 3, though, IIRC? (*Ninja-edit: it’s Warcraft 3, not Warcraft 2 that’s being remade.)

B. I can see his script reflected in his shades.

Point A is very important, they merely fixed some issues that prevent it from reliably running on modern systems. Assets, engine, etc are all the same as they were when it was originally released
