Is it possible to have the actual teams in the MP races (but same performance)? I’m guessing it is since they did that for the Virtual GP’s - but I’d imagine as individual races not a league. It could be quite cool having a “constructors” championship as well.

Assumptions based on what was possible in 2019 of course 
You definitely can in Ranked/Unranked MP races in 2019, so no reason why you couldn’t do the same in 2020. I know you can duplicate venues in the League setup, but there you can only use Multiplayer Cars, not actual teams.

So yeah, you could setup some 2020 races to match the IRL season using the new game and track those results manually to make a mini-championship out of it. You do that, I’ll continue to keep track of things in 2019 until everyone is ready to quit it and move over.
Ok cool. I’ll give everyone a few weeks to settle in with the new game and then we can kick things off league-wise

I am so envious of you. It seems I had a bit of an oopsie and only bought the normal edition and not the Schumacher Edition. Urgh now I have to wait until Friday like a pleb

Wish F1 2018 had this. Instead we alternate race days and qualifyings. I’ll do the one time quali and she’ll race, then vice versa. Leads to an interesting season to say the least
