Monday was the first time in a long time I played again, so defs first time after the latest patch.
Sooo, I was playing some playground games when the game put me outside of the play area, and the zombies could not touch me whilst I was a survivor, happened again at the next game when I had to do a flag rush. Needles to say my team won XD
December 14 Patch
They fixed the infinite loading screen on xbox and did some work on the multiplayer side as well.
Convoys
A top priority for the team is working on a fix for Convoys and disappearing players. We are continuing to investigate your reports and have identified and addressed one issue that would cause some players to become invisible to other players. Further work is ongoing in this area to improve the experience.

A lekke virtual brekkie run from Apex to Baja
I must download the game again. Did a fresh install of Windows. When it came to recognising my previously installed games Steam was effortless. I’m less optimistic about getting it to work with the Game Pass app.
Forza Horizon 5… the kinda game where I can finish the story content without ever doing a single sanctioned race. Now what do I do, seasons content? Actually complete sanctioned races?
I kinda started doing all the drift zones thats at least fun enough.
The progression is one piece of Forza Horizon 5 that they really messed up.
Forza Horizon celebrates its 10th Anniversary
Xbox Game Studios’ Playground Games are kicking off the celebrations for the 10-year anniversary of Forza Horizon in October, sharing an all-new trailer showcasing the Horizon Festival’s incredible journey travelling across Colorado, France, Italy, Australia, Britain and Mexico. The studio will be sharing more details around Forza Horizon’s 10th Anniversary next month.
Horizon 2 is the only one not available in 4k
That’s weird. The first and the third are available in 4k, but the second isn’t? Why?
What’s even weirder is they’re not available on Game Pass.
I vaguely remember reading somewhere that Forza vehicle licensing generally runs on a four-year contract after which they can’t sell it digitally anymore.
People can still play it if they own the game though. That’s why there was that big push last year to get people to buy Forza Motorsport 7 for 10% of the normal price before the expiry of the licenses happened and the game went into end of life.
When the game reaches “end of life,” the title and its DLC will no longer be available for purchase in the Microsoft Store or available with Xbox Game Pass.
However, after September 15, players who already own Forza Motorsport 7 will still be able to download and play the game and its associated content. In addition, features like multiplayer and online services will still be accessible for those who own the game.
Presumably the same applies to the Horizon games. Four years was always enough to have at least two editions overlapping because the release cycle was generally every second year. Forza Horizon has pretty much met that cycle so we have the current FH5 and the previous FH4 still on Game Pass and available to purchase on the XBox store. But Motorsport slipped, badly. FM7 was released in 2017. The new Forza Motorsport has been slated for release in only 2023 now, so there’s no version of Forza Motorsport currently available for sale on the Xbox Store or on Game Pass.
I see the same is gonna happen to project cars 2 deluxe edition is heavily discounted as it will be delisted next week

Topic revived to make note of the upcoming delisting of Forza Horizon 4 at the end of the year.
Due to licensing and agreements with our partners, Forza Horizon 4 will be delisted from digital platforms (Microsoft Store and Steam) on December 15, 2024. This means the game and its additional content will no longer be available for purchase through online stores.
Starting today, June 25; Forza Horizon 4’s DLC will get delisted from platforms, meaning that only Forza Horizon 4 Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate versions will be available for purchase from this day until delisting happens.
Current owners of the game will retain full access, and Game Pass drivers who have purchased any DLC for FH4 and who have a current non-discounted Game Pass subscription should receive a token to claim the complete game in the near future.
Before the title goes on sale on the official Xbox store in mid-July, there is a short (as in 48 hours) 80% sale on FH4 via Steam currently running. (Ends 19:00 tomorrow)
The game in its various versions will be on sale at these levels at various points until the end of the year.
From this date forward we will offer different discounts for Forza Horizon 4, like the one currently active on Steam (at the time of publishing); we will also have a sale in the Xbox Store on 7/14. Please keep an eye out on our socials and different platforms to take advantage of future offers.
Damn, that’s a good price for a fine game. I wish that price applied to Xbox too.
Pretty sure it’ll get a lot lower on the Xbox side of things before the delisting. Maybe not quite as low because the base Xbox price is different from the PC price, but when Forza Motorsport 7 went through the same thing, it went on sale for less 75% for the last month before it was delisted.
In hindsight… isn’t FH4 a Play Anywhere title? The Steam page says “title uses 3rd-party DRM (Microsoft Xbox Live)” so even if you buy it on Steam it will need to run through your Xbox account, right? So, if it is a Play Anywhere title, won’t that allow you to run it on either PC or the Xbox?
Either way, I’m seriously tempted to grab the Ultimate Edition for R110 on Steam anyway, just to have it because it’s such a good deal, especially if I can put an R80 Steam voucher from Disco Vitality towards it…
The Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition digital bundle includes the full game and Car Pass, VIP Membership, Formula Drift Car Pack, Best of Bond Car Pack, and the Fortune Island and LEGO® Speed Champions game expansions.
ETA - I’m thinking now that I’m probably wrong. Was there ever cross-play enabled for FH4 between Steam and MS Store PC, or Xbox, or Game Pass players? I can’t recall for sure. Maybe these Steam versions have such low base prices because they are only able to be played on Steam and with other Steam users? The non-discounted price for FH4 Ultimate on Steam is R549, on the Xbox Store it’s listed as R1699.
