You’re doing it wrong. You need to start Battle.Net, Origin, XBOX Windows App and Gog Galaxy as well. The right game will only make itself known when ALL the holy launchers are actively vying for your attention.

Anybody get their free Origin Basic access yet? I’m still waiting.

A couple of us have got email notifications and have the free month on our accounts.
But I also have read and seen that some people haven’t received any email notification but do actually have the free month on their accounts. Maybe something to do with EA promotional email preference settings on those accounts being disabled. You can check your account status here: https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/subscription/index by having a look at the Origin Access section.
Mine shows that my 1 Month will kick in after my current subscription ends on 22 January, and that I’m due to be rebilled only on the 23 February now, a month later.
The only other suggestion I’ve heard that may trigger it is to update and log in to your Origin launcher again. I have absolutely no idea if this is a valid solution, but I did on Monday to check the status of Jedi Fallen Order, and received my email later that night. May be pure coincidence though.

I checked my profile already. And my Origin opens up automatically on startup, but I even force quit my Origin last night. I think it’s pure coincidence lol.

Yip, nothing for me either. And I have been using 2 step verification for a long time… I also want to play just one or two games, mostly as a trial more than anything else.

Do you know about the promotion that they ran last month? If you already are on Basic though, you should not have to pay for your subscription netx month. But only if you’re running 2FA
