I’ve been playing the Hades II early access for some time now. It really feels like multiple steps up in every way from the previous game. I thought I’d miss Zagreus too much, but the new protagonist is equally as charming and engaging!
well, I feel like I knew this was coming, being able to play these many games, especially AAA titles for such a low cost, even with the price increase is still a great deal, unfortunately I will not be continuing with the gamepass subscription after the price increase, it is just too much for me.
My thoughts exactly. I love the idea of it, and, essentially the price is possibly fair if you maximise your use of it. But for someone who plays one or two games a month from the sub I was about to cancel it anyway. This just speeds the process up…
The Game Pass and Xbox subreddits are already flood with posts of people cancelling and stories of the account system crashing.
I still have almost exactly a year left on my sub from when I did the “Buy 3 years of Core and a month of Ultimate and get it converted to 20 months of Game Pass” thing just before the last price increase. But when that’s done, I’m probably opting out too. If anything I’ll take a single month at a time if there’s really something I desperately want to play.
Like others have already mentioned, there’s already so much to play in my multiple libraries and their backlogs that there’s already not enough time to play. Losing the GP subscription will take stress off constantly thinking I have to try find the time to make my subscription worth it.
Ah well, it was good while it lasted I guess. Thanks for sucking Microsoft! (I do still want an Xbox Ally X though!)
