I’ve downloaded Monsters are Coming to check it out. After getting hooked on BallxPit, it looks like another fun rogue-lite for those short gaming sessions.

It definitely scratched that itch for me. It gets similarly chaotic closer to reaching The Ark (the end of a road / run / level), especially when you have to balance collecting coins, stone, wood, killing monsters AND planning your city all at once. I’ve unlocked all but 2 cities so far and most of the buildings.

Did you play Space Marine 2? Just curious. I was looking forward to and super excited it was hitting GP but I got bored very quickly. Maybe I’m not in the right mindset for it.
KCD2 however I will play to death.
I never did finish the first one but I re-downloaded it on steam so I’ll see if I can pick up where I left off and get it done before March 3.

Busy finishing off Spare Marine 1, just the final boss fight to get past. Then I’ll start off with SM2. The original, despite it’s upscaled facelift, still shows its age in terms of the gameplay. However the more I played the more I got into it. One thing that stood out was the sequences where you get to use the jetpack - that is an absolute blast. It makes smashing the enemy hordes fairly easy but no less satisfying.
Keen to play KCD2 but want to play the first installment that has been sitting in my library for ages. Will probably let the sub lapse for a bit while I get to some games on my backlog and then later on resub to play KCD2 and whatever else they’ve added that catches my fancy.
