The houses / camps are about 2km apart. We did an hour walk and walked to both in the vicinity of us. It was very pretty, we just had no real sunsets - the sun would just drop no spectacular sky. The stars was pretty tho.
The snow is on the Matroosberg, but it was the only snow we saw.

About 40 mins before you get there, the phone signal just drops. The night/day before we got there, the weather was miserable, so it was muddy, and the power kept cutting out since the place is run on solar power and gas for the stove. We went thru 4 bags of wood just to keep the house warm inside

Haha the best part of the weekend was when my youngest brother’s wife who came thru the sat, got stuck behind a locked gate, since there is a shooting range. She couldnt figure out the walkie talkie and was stuck waiting for them to finish shoot for an hour and half.
I have never seen her that mad!

Oh he was just worried because she was so late, he started thinking she had an accident (she is prone to them) so he went looking for her and found her on the property stuck behind a gate
