Well on the upside, this event has stage restarts enabled so you guys can still have a crack at him.

What are your guys thoughts on longer events? like 6-8 stages? a few short stages sprinkled in.
Iām currently playing Dirt 2 career on Elite difficulty and I like the format, although itās a bit more brutal, 10 stages, 5 of them long, rain every other stage.
Definitely keeps you on your toes having to change up your driving style and aggression every stage.
Thatās the idea. Iām playing with a couple of ideas for the next season (which will run for about 3 months)
Multiple events with around 6 stages, each event lasting 1-2 weeks
Okay, cool. I actually just read a bit further up and saw your suggested layout. 
@PsychoFish has been doing a good job in keeping the events varied. The night stages in Greece were pretty hair-raising.

Night in Germany is bloody terrifying
Bloody Germans! Shove a couple of barrels and some hay bales into the road, run a bit of hazard tape around randomly, turn the lights off and call it a rally stage.

I havenāt experienced that, but with all those square turns after fast straights, that could indeed be terrifying.

Have not, but been watching a lot of the pre-release videos and tracking the previews and reviews. And it seems to be reviewing pretty decently - certainly the most positive Iāve seen for the WRC franchise games. Iām especially interested in the career mode which sounds like it is really changed a lot, and now has a bunch of R&D and management elements in it.
Havenāt decided yet if I am going to get it. I assume the reason theyāve gone Epic exclusive this year is for the bonus monies, but I do understand why that makes it a hard sell for many. Personally, it doesnāt bug me too much and if they throw in regional pricing (which for this title they seem to have done - $21.99 / ~R325) versus the near enough R1000 for a console version, Iām okay with using the Epic store and my PayPal account.

Blitzed the Monaco event yesterday because I thought it ended last night. Hit P1 by 30 seconds! Turns out you still have another 12 hours or so today to knock me off my high horse.
