haha luckily I’m ok with that lol.
But, bruh! Before I got my own VR, I played Dirt Rally with my friends Vive, and his steering wheel, but my other friend picked up the controller and drove using that… My body was so confused.

Discovered Pikes Peak and Seb Loeb’s Peugot 208T. Proceeded to utterly destroy it well before the mid-way mark. I blame my shitty, uncalibrated and confused wheel.
Made it to the top on 3 wheels and a rim in 15 minutes 
Cheered loudly when I did. Scared the cat and confused the child. 10/10 would do it again.
They never did add a photomode or free camera into the game, did they? Only able to take screenshots from Replays after a stage.
Also, super slo-mo…

… and interestingly enough in 1986 Ayrton Senna quickly popped over to Wales to take a Ford Sierra Cosworth for a dash through the woods. He was apparently rather quick.

The thing with DiRT Rally is that it’s more of a simulation than most of the other titles. Makes it real hard, took me ages to feel comfortable enough to flick the tail out around a corner. I’m still struggling with braking and not getting the wheels to spin up like crazy is an absolute art.
One of the few games where I’m learning more every time I think I’ve mastered something

What is missing from my Renault 5 runs is the stage where I fudged it and pretty much killed the radiator and engine. No power, everything was crap and I had to nurse it along.
I bought shame on myself.
