It definitely runs. I donāt even have to play in the fog anymore. Iām just too busy to get my desktop back up and running after the motherboard decided not to post.
Crap! I was playing in VR, then I started my next Stage and somehow I lost my in car seat and just had a flat screen view of the game while in VR. fiddled around, clicked on exit SteamVR for some reason and the game quitā¦ does that mean Iām going to retire that stage now? (Iām too scared to go check)
Also, I was doing surprisingly well haha, I thought I was going to be dead last.
River Severn in the rain is not a walk in the park, thatās for sure. My car felt like it was made of plastic the way it was flying off the track, doing flips and bouncing along when I did my practice runs.
Even though I was more careful in the proper league run I still landed up having to recover my vehicle on 2 occasions. Glad itās done now. Just two more stages to go!
Sigh, lost all my progress after that exit of the game(I was in second place by the time I got to the 4th stage). And as punishment I drove utter kak now and came dead last, even had to retire the last stage. BLARGH!
Spent most of the evening fighting with my wheel to get it working with the game, when I should really have been doing practice laps at Spa in an F1 car.
Eventually got so irritated with it that I deleted all the controller files I could find, disabled the Logitech Profiler and restarted the game with everything at default settings. And it worked. Well enough at least to let me get through the first stage relatively unscathed. A couple of small mistakes, but no offs, and only 15 seconds slower than Darthsā time at the end. Well pleased. Not sure if itāll last for the rest of the rally.
Hereās video of my stage replay:
Now I have to go figure out if Iāve completely screwed up my wheel settings for F1 2019 for tomorrowās Belgian GPā¦
Lol I checked to see how far down I am on the leaderboards. Lo and behold, I wasnāt there.
Turns out i didnāt do the final Stage yet XD Iāll do it tonight or on Saturday.
I had some tense moments on the last stage, managed to pick up a flat on the left back tireā¦ then the tire wore away and I was skidding along on the rim. I deliberately went off to recover the vehicle in the hopes it would fix my tire but unfortunately all it did was waste 13 seconds. I just had to nurse the car home in the end. Fortunately I was about 3/4 of the way done when the tire came off completely.
Oh fark. So did I. I didnāt even check the date just assumed it was running from Sunday to Sunday. I had this plan to the Rally before todayās Grand Prix and the F1 Weekly after. Well bugger me. Clearly need to to pay more attention to the dates.
Ha, Iām not so sure about that. But Iāll definitely make a point of checking the dates for Event 2 a little closer Just feel bad for @Dragonic with his one stage short.
