Scary perhaps, if there was/were a curved pane of glass behind you as you rise up.
I have about a 5-10% fear of heights.
Try doing it all day, every day for 15 years. Then throw in most evenings and weekends as well.
I had a bit of a breakdown in the car while my wife and I were driving to work today (she joined us last month as account manager) where I vented my frustration and exhaustion in jumping between 4 projects in a single week. Each project is equally demanding and can’t be more different, so I can’t even share thoughts and mindspace between them. It’s emotionally and mentally taxing to the degree that I’m drained enough to care about absolutely nothing. It’s a dangerous position to be in mentally and I take care to shield our senior developers and consultants from similar scenarios and end up taking it on myself.
I wanted to call in an early day today and leave one client at 14:30 to get home early enough to write a report for some attorneys, but I got held up in a day-long meeting and only arrived at home now. So now I don’t have any energy left to do any work and will probably get up early tomorrow to write it before leaving late for the same client I was at today. So the cycle continues with no realistic end in sight.

Oh dear lord, I have a woman who is throwing her toys out the cot because I refuse to let her into the community page with out giving her address. She is so upset about the breach of privacy. So I asked her how else does she want us to confirm people live in the area?
This is me too this morning. Nose leaking like a open tap, sinuses blocked and painful. And this after I thought I was done with this kak for the season. Sucks.
