Tom does all his own stunts one last time…
I’m really getting sick of these long running series/franchises.
But this is still hella’impressive considering his age. Must be all that scientology malarky.

I have not see the last one, but the others were not really a long running series but more a couple of individual movies. Same character but not all intertwined. Apart from the trailer showing they will try to make it all come together in a final movie? Anyway, I have no clue what the overarching plotline was up to this point…

The last movie was pretty decent. It did have some throwbacks to previous movies, which I kinda lost, as I haven’t seen the movies in ages. Looking forward to this last one though!

I Know What You Did Last Summer
Cinema Release | 18 July
When five friends inadvertently cause a deadly car accident, they cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences. A year later, their past comes back to haunt them and they’re forced to confront a horrifying truth: someone knows what they did last summer…and is hell-bent on revenge.
As one by one the friends are stalked by a killer, they discover this has happened before, and they turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.
I’m not sure bringing back Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. is going be enough to save this… That said, much like the original, it’s sleepover slasher stuff for idle teens I guess.

Interesting to see Johnson moving away from his Rock moniker and the popcorn smack em ups, and attempting a more serious role. Seeing him with hair is going to take a bit of getting used to though.

I’m loving that “Malcolm’s dad” has grown in acting stature so much over the 20 years or so since Malcolm in the Middle. And to see him working with the wonderful Allison Janney too - very nice.
