I’m incredibly excited for this. The book was brilliant, and Lord & Miller are some the very few who could pull this story off in film.

Millions Hunt. One Runs. Everyone Watches.
In a near-future society, The Running Man is the top-rated show on television - a deadly competition where contestants, known as Runners, must survive 30 days while being hunted by professional assassins, with every move broadcast to a bloodthirsty public and each day bringing a greater cash reward.
Desperate to save his sick daughter, working-class Ben Richards (Glen Powell) is convinced by the show’s charming but ruthless producer, Dan Killian (Josh Brolin), to enter the game as a last resort. But Ben’s defiance, instincts, and grit turn him into an unexpected fan favorite - and a threat to the entire system. As ratings skyrocket, so does the danger, and Ben must outwit not just the Hunters, but a nation addicted to watching him fall.
Stephen Kings’ story makes it to the big screen for the second time. The Running Man was originally published in 1982 under Kings’ Richard Bachman pseudonym. The first movie starred Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1987 and had an Atari game that came out a year or two later as well. That adaptation kept only a rough idea of the violent show. This one, supposedly, is a much more faithful adaption.
I watched the trailer last night, I’m starting to like glen Powell’s range of acting he seems to be dipping into various genres
Glen Powel is in every second movie it seems like I dont mind that one bit, he is pretty awesome.

A broker of lucrative payoffs between corrupt corporations and the individuals who threaten them breaks his own rules when a new client seeks his protection to stay alive.
I do quite like Riz Ahmed ever since his small role in Rogue One. And definitely since his starring role in Sound of Metal.
