Almost. Come on back in… checks notes… 8 years time.
Some NSF estimations
SpaceX stream starts in 26mins
Starship is big! I’ve walked the Saturn V at Cape Canaveral and was awed by its size. Starship is a monster.
Not today then…
So close. Held at T- 00:00:40 seconds. Launch attempt scrubbed due to a booster pressurization issue. “We’ll use today as a wet test.”
Minimum of 48 hours to reset and try again, weather permitting.
Forgot about this… SAs not so successful foray into rocketry, the RSA-3 satellite launcher…
I saw that and I actually didn’t even know about it.
4/20 is almost a given now.
have to wait 48 hours sigh but it was so close
wait this was a thing
Also, can I just say… JELLY!
It was indeed. It was an attempt by the old Nat government to try and get some sort of communications satellite into low earth orbit in the midst of global sanctions. Wasn’t a very successful effort.
I was like a kid in a candy store all day there
LOL, our rocket was called the SHAVIT? I will tell you where they can shove it!!! LOL!
Nah, it was just based on the Israeli Shavit series of rockets. “Shavit” is the Hebrew word for “comet”. We named ours really creatively by contrast: the RSA-3.
Oh, that is far less exciting. I would love our rockets to be called Shoveit, or Voetsek, or Bliksem…
'Tsek, Awê, Kiff, and Eish are the perfect names for the next SA rockets.
Nice. I should take some photos of all the lego I have.
