Polaris Dawn finally got a new date, today, and already got pushed out by an hour or more due to the pesky weather. Currently T- 01:25:00 away but weather is supposed to get worse, so… yeah.

Successful launch and orbital insertion! Dragon performed perfectly. The Polaris Dawn SpaceX Crew capsule is cruising comfortably around Earth at +28000kph. Magnificent!

Spacewalk scheduled for Thursday.

@Ani help please! Trying to figure out the best dates, times, and directions to try spotting and seeing the two celestial happenings this month, and keep getting tripped up by all the Northern hemisphere info I can find…

Wanting to see if I can spot the Tsuchinshan-ATLAS comet and then later in the month, the Orionid meteor shower.
