Very little is known about Pleribus at this point, other than it’s from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, stars Rhea Seehorn (who starred in Gilligan’s BB spinoff, Better Call Saul), and is classified on Apple TV+ as “Sci-Fi”. Oh, and it has the weirdly cryptic logline: “The most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness”.

The streamer has been releasing a series of short teaser clips over the past two months which have only added to the enigmatic nature of the upcoming series. Here they are in the order they’ve been released.

(The US telephone number in a couple of the clips leads to an automated message which prompts the caller to subscribe to a text message service that then sends them further cryptic messages like “Please know your life is your own, Carol. You have agency!”)

I loved it. Each season has a proper tear-jerking moment, despite it being a sitcom.
