I’m not entirely sure the world needed another screen version of Carrie, but I think this is the last step in Flannagan’s effort to convince Amazon to eventually greenlight his multi-season, King-approved, complete The Dark Tower saga. If this series get positive viewing numbers and decent reviews, I think he’ll get his wish.
