Oh noes @RebelTech! The U3818DW is already showing as out of stock!
I will probably buy an ultrawide monitor sometime this year. However, I’m very worried about backlight bleed and IPS glow, having seen some horror stories on the internet. I’ve had some issues with my Samsung UHD tv with backlight bleed. The first one was really bad and had to be replaced and even the replacement has backlight bleed at the bottom.
What is your return policy regarding backlight bleed and IPS glow?

Sorry for only replying now. Returns depends on the the manufacturer warranty. I know ASUS has pretty good return policy on backlight bleed.
Unfortunately Ultra-wides will most of the time have some backlight bleed because of the size. Would say just to watch or read some reviews about the monitor, most of the time a proper reviewer will cover the backlight bleed.

Thanks RebelTech. It’s sad but there hasn’t been an ultrawide that didn’t have someone complain about backlight bleed. I may have to wait until the technology improves.
