You people with your big ass GPU’s.

My PC died about 5 years ago and since then it has just been too expensive to replace it all to the specs i wanted. So i waited my time and told the work i need a new laptop. And then I got my new baby.

Alienware R15

i7 6700HQ
8gb DDR4 Ram
GTX 1060 6GB
Samsung m.2 256gb SSD
and some shitty 1tb 7200rpm drive.

I still have some upgrades planned. 2 more SSD’s and another 8GB of ram.

Its so awesome to have a pc again and to play games. But now I’m sitting with 5 years of games I missed that I’m trying to play all at ones. Its a fuck up.

Fine!! I’ll share my weak-ass PC specs as well. Seeing as I’m mostly a console peasant I haven’t focused on upgrading my PC in a very long time.

So I’ve got:

Intel Core i5 2500k
ASRock Mobo of some model and some spec
8GB DDR3 2400
AMD RX470 GPU
500GB 7200 drive
A shitty box with missing feet

So yeah, if I get 1080p gaming on reletively recent titles it will be a miracle.

Can’t edit the old post, I see there is a mistake.

I listed my GPU twice

Mmm

here’s my recently upgraded pc

Intel Core i7 7700
ASRock B250M Pro 4 Mainboard
8GB DDR4(cant remember exactly what but i think 2133)
GTX 750
240 SSD
500gb Seagate
2tb old hard drive
Coolermaster Masterbox Lite 5

my PC now also features some coole RGB Fans

I forgot to mention I finally got an upgrade!

AMD Ryzen 3 1200
ASRock A320M
Kingston Hyper X 1 x 8GB DDR4-2400
Adata 128GB M.2 SSD (boot drive)
3TB, 2 x 2TB, 1TB, 640GB, 500GB, 320Gb for storage.
Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti
Corsair VS350
Gigabyte M1 Case

Now my Current “PC” is…

A Raspberry Pi 2 B+

Why you ask? Well… Back in December, my older PC died. I ordered a new system and everything arrived. Fast Forward exactly one month after purchase. It dies. Through some tests, it’s narrowed down to the motherboard or PSU. Both are sent back and after about a working week of waiting, the motherboard is indeed friend. The supplier is still working on the PSU, which I might hear about later this week. It’s been almost 3 weeks of waiting… It sucks really, but I have heard that Corsair/supplier support is terrible in SA.
