Square Enix returns to E3 2018

Square Enix will be back at E3 this year with their very own presentation. The last E3 they had their own presentation was way back in 2015.

I am quietly hoping for some Deus Ex news. Within the past few days, SE did state that the DX franchise is still important to them. Hopefully with Tomb Raider coming to an end this year, the team will focus on returning to Adam Jensen…one can only hope.

I was just gonna say - I have a feeling its gonna be a deus ex something - the hints is all there

I Doubt it, the deus ex team of eidos montreal is finishing the new tomb raider, crystal dynamics and eidos montreal (their b team) is making the avengers game, square enix montreal only makes mobile games and beautiful games in the uk are only good for football managers and the japanese holdings division only makes jap rpgs etc. so there’s not a single team available to start on dues ex.

i think they are holding a conference because they have alot of games due now and its probably best to show it off at e3

phil spencer went to japan a few ago to get more jrpgs on the xbox platform , rumours are its gonna be final fantasy 14 which never got an xbone release or they are making lost oddysey 2 for the xbox and it will be announced.

Good news, seems like Deus Ex is indeed on some radar for the studio!!

I am extremely happy about this news. So we will have to wait, but at least some indication that the franchise isn’t dead. Also probably a while out due to what you’ve said as the studios are mostly all committed to other projects.

Mankind Divided is a pretty good game, it was just released at the wrong time so it never got the sales it was destined for, same can be said for all the bethesda games, their games are brilliant but with average sales figures cause they always release it at the same time other AAA studios go and release their titles, case and point red dead 2 is releasing this year so Activision went and moved the call of duty release date forward cause they know they wont be able to compete with that.
