This cat has occupied my chair since morning. Have to work now so I spun the chair and the cat wondered off slightly dazed I think.

We have the same fight in our house… one of the cats always wants to lay on the chair we are currently using… we are considering getting an extra chair so the cats can nap on it…

one of the best problems to have in life 
I used to just pick the cat up and put him on my lap, and unless he was quite tired he would just jump off anyway and go eat and do other cat stuff.

Credit where it’s due time:
Vumatel technicians actually did arrive at our house just after 7 this evening. And not just to be able to tick off the list and say “we went there”. They made an effort to track down the break (it’s in the junction box outside our property) and had the cable fuser and signal measuring tools going by torchlight in the cold. Sadly they weren’t able to fix it tonight, but gave assurances they’d be back in the morning with more tools, more cable, and more light. All fingers and things crossed, hopefully we’ll be back online by lunchtime tomorrow.

Normally I would love it, but we are 6 people in a 2 bedroom place, with me and Nima sleeping in the living room on the futon couches. . . .
Aka a whole weekend of not speaking (its family and I have learnt a long time ago to shutup and smile)
It doesnt help that I don’t drink and they do… Its gonna be interesting.
