I got this one which seemed fairly reasonable. I still have to get a proper new headboard, but I’ll probably do that next month.

I like the beds (or matress specifically) that fit into a frame, like sunken into it. Sure they’re lower but I just love the look and feel of them.
I’ve still got a queen size from many years ago. I know people say you should view a bed as an investment but hot damn, the prices are crazy nowadays.

Same here, I’m fairly average length and my feet don’t even come near the floor. My poor girlfriend is an entire head shorter so you can just imagine.

while I think i already was, messages like the above make me even more thankful my dad gave us a BUNCH of stuff for our new home when he moved…which included a queen sized mattress (so we just needed to buy base) among other things
thanks again dad, im sure you saved us 10’s of thousands in the end with all the 2nd hand furniture (not to mention food like rice and flour and bags of cleaning detergents and shoe polishes and crap that accumulates in a home over 40 years) you gave us ! <3

Yeah, I look at the contents of our place and how much of it is “sponsored” by my folks, we can very thankful for things like this. Like my dad says, he has an investment now for his retirement

Nope, except for cars crashing whilst driving in it. A friend had a very close call on his way home from work. He got lucky - just a bent wheel rim
But many accidents.

I’m paranoid about losing access to my Google account which has literally everything saved so I’ve signed up for Microsoft’s 365 family subscription giving me 1TB to double back up my photos and documents.
This is going to take a while. And that’s just the photos on my phone. I’m going to transfer all the ones in Google Photos/Drive as well.
I’ve already got every email I receive duplicated and backed up, seeing that it’s basically my filing cabinet for all my important documents/invoices/proof of things. I don’t think I save any documents locally any more.

I don’t have a terabyte on my phone so there’ll be lots of space left. My Google Drive is only at 600gig also.
It’s all these phones that come out with 4k 8k awesomeness but that eats space
