I don’t like soggy popcorn, almost as much as I hate a soggy-marie.

If you use butter instead of margarine, it won’t really get soggy.
We can’t find spur pink sauce (salad dressing sauce) anywhere…is it just here in Eastern Cape? We can find their barbeque sauces and things like that, but multiple stores now, the shelf space where spur salad dressing is meant to be is just empty…for months now

Just go to spur with some empty bottles in your bag/jacket/pockets/etc ;D

Trust me, changing what you consider that tastes nice for a chance to live longer and better is not as hard as people make it out to be. It is a mindset. You can do it!

Dude, go to Vis Fabriek, I see they’re all over the Cape. They don’t have the Spur one specifically but they have another (or perhaps their own brand) and it is equally as good. Trust.

Funny that you ask… We’re back in hospital. He complained of leg pain yesterday and couldn’t walk anymore. So went back to paediatrician who immediately admitted him again. He’s in the procedure room getting blood drawn, drip inserted and COVID and viral swabs done. So wife and I are standing listening to him crying for us. It’s been a very unpleasant 3 weeks now…

Thanks everyone. At least he’s asleep now. Hoping for a long, restful nap so that he can feel better. The 2 throat swabs were the worst. At least he regained his composure quick enough to tell the nurse from Ampath that she’s “stout” and that she shouldn’t do it again. 
At least the hospital has uncapped wifi, so his iPad with Surfshark and Disney+ is a godsend. I’m already on the second run of Luca for the day. I can almost recite the movie by now, as I swear I must’ve seen it 30 times already!

Up here in Joburg too. It’s my daughter’s favourite but also hasn’t been available for months.
Absolutely coincidentally, wife was in a center yesterday that had a Spur, went in and bought a couple of restraint use bottles - no convenient squeeze bottles or big litre bottles though. They told her that the recipe had been change, that it was a complete disaster because everyone hated it, and then, just as they were changing back to the old recipe, the production facility was distributed by the zuma protests. They’re only now getting back to capacity. No news on when it’ll be back in the supermarket shelves though.

So sorry to hear Farlig. I’ve been in now for about 30 hours, have had nothing more serious than a drip in my arm and my vitals tested every hour, and I am as frustrated as all heck and just want to go home already. I can only image how tough this must be on your little guy.

Thanks man. And good luck and prayer support to you as well. I’m lucky enough to not be the subject of needles, pokes and prods, but it is quite emotionally draining seeing it happen to my only child. I hate a hospital - grew up in them due to a sister who lived her life with kidney disease, from birth to her eventual passing just before turning 25.
