morning people of the palace
hello been up since 4:30 well 5:30 for you guys
Been playing fallout 3. I remember not liking it that much but I’m really enjoying also its so much darker than fallout 4. I can see now how mild fallout 4 is.
Fallout 3 is so much better than Fallout 4 and let us not even mention that atrocity that is 76.
Fallout 2 remains bae though.
I’ll play 2 eventually. I just don’t feel like the hassle to make it playable.
you should try battletech its a lot of fun.
Not having a PC doesn’t help me in that regard
In other news, election day is the Monday, 1st November 2021. Is this then observed as a public holiday? I believe so.
It’s been declared as one, yes.
weekend? what weekend? I have worked everyday this past weekend from 8:00 till 17:00 T_T except for yesterday, it was luckily only till 13:00.
IT, not even once
Eish, I am sorry to hear that. I hope you are able to get in some rest or relaxation soon and don’t become burnt out.
Complete opposite for me. I loved Fallout 1 and 2. I found 3 to be super boring. Then New Vegas was much better and I like Fallout 4 a lot too.
thanks, same I hope the rest of the week is a bit more quiet so i can at least rest my body, sore all over from going up and down ladders, having to get down and up from the floor, site had no chairs so my feet hurt like hell from standing all the time. dat paycheck better be phat tho.
Gotta love my brain, anxiety is sky high, going to the dentist tomorrow for implants, and mum is going in for a knee op.
Here are some pics from out trip to the mine dump in Benoni. These are mine, not the wife’s as she’s busy editing her lot, so it’s just some random shots.
Photo shoot under such hard light?
It was just a test shoot with friends so we had to squeeze it in when it was possible to go. The later photos had better lighting, but ya it was a challenge for my wife.
Rather take it properly the first time so that you don’t have to “fix” it.
I am by no means bashing on @DarthMol or the quality of work published here or elsewhere, but more of a general statement as I see it everywhere. I was shocked by the results of some of the people/services we looked at (and how much they charged) when we were looking for a wedding photog, like amateur hour. People need to take time to understand how light works and behaves, and understand proper framing techniques. People should take time to understand film, exposure and 35mm for factors.
Too often I think people consider themselves “photographers” or that they can perform photography cos they have access to a camera, or have bought an expensive camera and can now take professional photos or provide a service. Yes, I am ranting, but that is because I get really peeved by this.
Relying on digital processing tools is a crux, not an art form.
Sorry.
/rant
Absolutely, when you’re on a pro gig for sure. (Even then though, not every shot is going to be perfect straight out of the camera, and some post work will happen).
But not so serious when @DarthMol is taking happy snaps with his trusty phone camera and I’m killing 3 minutes waiting for a stupid email to arrive so that I can do some actual work
Absolutely, which is why I tried to frame it so that it wasn’t an attack on him nor his wife. Guess I failed at that.
