Wow… I hate rewatching/listening to meeting recordings, I sound like such a chop!

Most people tend to think or feel the same I find. I wonder what the science is behind it. Perhaps from naturally speaking and hearing our own voices all the time we’re almost muted to certain tones.

EDIT:

When you hear your voice on a recording, you’re only hearing sounds transmitted via air conduction. Since you’re missing the part of the sound that comes from bone conduction within the head, your voice sounds different to you on a recording.

I was picking up my hamster from my friend, who has friends/family in that area. She was showing me some videos they took. Wasn’t as bad as some of the videos from Germany recently, for example, and from what I saw it was just a few roads/crossings that were inaccessible, but it could certainly cause some real damage if it starts hitting houses.
