So my motherboard decided it was going to spot POSTing today… It froze up on boots like it has for the past couple years with an improper shutdown. After removing the PSU connectors and holding in the power button, plus a whole bunch of other power draining exercises, it only POSTed with ‘00’ (before it would at least cycle through a bunch on the motherboard’s double digit display).
I took it outside and cleaned out the dust, now I don’t even get any signs of power
Does anyone perhaps have an old 4th gen motherboard they can spare?
Seems we filled up @SIGSTART’s MEW server with all our kak praatery and random picture posting. So either he’s managed to easily make a bit more space available for more of our shenanigans - thank you! Or he’s taken the intelligent option and started deleting all our old nonsense instead (but I think he probably didn’t do that cos he is nice. And besides, that option sounds like way too much effort for a Saturday morning )
