These guys had all the fun yesterday - they did trick or treating in our neighborhood in the afternoon - over 70 kids knocking on all the houses marked on a map. That car was the winner tho

That’s the way to keep gaming with a new baby around, single player games that you can pause. I remember playing AC: Brotherhood during those early days with our first child. I’d take the first shift until midnight while my wife slept so I still managed to play a fair amount in between nappy changes and bottle feeds.

Haha you are right. I get my gaming in when I can and at the moment the night shift until 12 is a good time for gaming.
I think all I can say is so far so good. Our sleep cycle is all kinds of crazy right now, I’m becoming a pro at changing nappies, and I’ve never left love like I do right now. But I think I definitely am suffering from first time parent syndrome, where anything seemingly out of the ordinary is a tragedy.

“This is the way” - for first time parents at least. I remember googling: My baby seeps during the day but stays up at night to try and find a solution after the 2nd/3rd night back at home.

I also made the nearly fatal mistake of waking up one morning in that first week and saying to my wife: “Oh he slept right through!”
No… he didn’t. I did. My wife certainly did not…
