Looking around, no one is in their office, so I think the whole place is taking the time off but me. I guess I can just go home.

So far the queue is quite long, will drive past later and check. Seems that a lot of people like to get voting done in the morning leaving the rest of the day open, but as a result of that it can be better to go later in the day.

Mine was a walk in and through. No queue at the time I voted (08:25). I think every area is different. I remember queuing at 10:00 in 2016.

Slept terribly last night. Thank goodness I could sleep in a little this morning. And it sounds like the morning queues at the polling station were worth missing, so it’s all good.

So glad to hear baby and mama and you are doing well.
We told you about that feeling. It’s amazing, isn’t it? And it doesn’t matter how much you prepare for or think you’re ready. You hold that tiny little fragile newborn in your great big man hands for the first time, and it’s like a switch is flicked somewhere in your brain and in your heart. It’s a deeply profound experience.
Oh, and wait until your first paranoid “is she breathing?!!?” experience - that’s always fun.

Wanted to go vote, 15 mins to get into the area to find a parking spot - left when I saw the queue and the fact that there is no parking,
Hello Just got back from tesco kinda went mad bought a load of sweets and lunch and ice cream haha 13 pounds later. Got the family stuff not all for me

A former colleague and one of my best professional friends used to work for them (I’m trying to say network without saying it ). He says they’re a good bunch (he was a Java Full-Stack Developer for them), and working with them sharpened his tools.
I’d only temper his testimony with the context of consultancy because depending on how you feel about that, it might not matter.
