Have made a decision on which medical aid your moving too?
No, not yet. You?
We need to move though. They are driving me nuts. Didn’t pay for my wife’s chronic medicine and when we emailed them they just never replied.
im still uhming and ahing between Bonitas and Discovery(where the hubby is). I am going to move though, cause they are advertising on 947 now everyday and their service is so sh1t, yet they want more members
Maybe you guys above can help me…
We’ve moved into a complex. Do we need to approach the Trustee board or w/e (don’t even have contact details) to get like a list of rules for the place (parking seems to be completely disregarded and despite being an oval 1 way, ppl drive both directions instead of following what is logically the clockwise direction). No idea who to approach or where to look…
We are also deciding between Bonitas, Discovery and Fedhealth. It’s a difficult one.
I like it, its clear to the point and people cant argue that you were unclear.
The people will always flout the rules, but as trustees you can be held liable. So yea this is covering your asses, but it is well worth it to try and get people to behave.
your estate agent should have provided you with those, but you can contact your managing agent for it as well and they should also be able to give you the details of the trustees
You should have gotten a list of rules when you bought plus the financial statements.
You mean outside where its not dangerous?
this is where things get tricky.
I bought it from my dad…who’s been renting it out the last 5 years so he’s never even lived there. I never received financial anything.
mmm so does your dad not have any of these details? whoever is billing you for the complex levies is the managing agent and they should have these rules.
Also it is important to go through financials of Sectional Titles to ensure money is being spent properly etc
I have the generic name of the commercial managing agents or w/e they’re called (Trafalgar) and plan to e-mail their East London branch and ask for details or at least be pointed in right direction. Sadly my dad has i think an account he pays into and tahts about all he knows at this time. its sorta up to me to try dig up info
So would it be standard for me to ask trafalgar for financial statements? that wouldnt be a weird request (it is to me lol)
have not yet paid any levies actually
Oh ok Trafalgar is quite big, so they should be able to assist you with who the person is dealing with your complex.
As an owner you are entitled to ask for a copy and should in fact also receive a copy annually.
They’re big, they manage a building up the road from me.
They should email you levies every month. You’ll also get the financials before the AGMs for your complex. As @wenzdayz said you’re entitled to ask for the financials at any time.
Ok thanks, i’ve emailed el@trafalgar and hopefully i get pointed in right direction… i mean we don’t even know what day the refuse gets collected
EDIT: oh wow, apparently im not in the trafalgar mail list so my mail has been rejecteed by microsoft. always a good sign of openness…
Why the fuck have a “contact us” page but have a whitelist for the e-mail address listed
looks like you will have to call them then.
Please be mindful of the waiting periods, pre-existing conditions exclusions. Make sure you understand all of those rules for your new medical and and understand the consequences.
Sounds perfect, it irritates me when people just let their little clones cause problems for others
Question…
Could this be a little passive aggressive from me?
I just uploaded 3 photos to a company’s google maps, so that people can find the fucking place because apparently it is hard to read signs.
So I added the photos with red circles on it to mark the DOOR
because I am going to lose my shit on a person who totally would be half innocent - except for the fucking fact that they cannot read?
I’m confused. Why are the red marks needed?
