Credit where it’s due time:
Vumatel technicians actually did arrive at our house just after 7 this evening. And not just to be able to tick off the list and say “we went there”. They made an effort to track down the break (it’s in the junction box outside our property) and had the cable fuser and signal measuring tools going by torchlight in the cold. Sadly they weren’t able to fix it tonight, but gave assurances they’d be back in the morning with more tools, more cable, and more light. All fingers and things crossed, hopefully we’ll be back online by lunchtime tomorrow.

Ag, the cold doesn’t bother me. This constant feeling of sneezing does though. Hope the rain helps, I do love rainy weather.

Normally I would love it, but we are 6 people in a 2 bedroom place, with me and Nima sleeping in the living room on the futon couches. . . .
Aka a whole weekend of not speaking (its family and I have learnt a long time ago to shutup and smile)
It doesnt help that I don’t drink and they do… Its gonna be interesting.

There seem to be lots of wide open spaces to lose yourself in, hypothetically speaking of course. I’d also love to go to a place like that, like @Beo said. With a little one it would be a great experience for him to just roam around and investigate each rock and bush…

See I am just salty cos I have to sleep on a sleeper couch - my back cant do that anymore, plus the fact that I have no privacy, even if I go for a walk - someone will go with me. Our family can barely make it thru a family dinner without arguments, its one of the main reasons why I am so quiet irl, I just sit there and pretend to be listening.
