Halo is an ugly piece of crap. Itās going to take some getting used to.
I donāt know, Iām not too against the halo on the new cars. The camera will make for some epic shots. My biggest gripe with this yearās rules are the tires. So last year nobody used the hard compound at all, so to remedy the situation they added another even harder compound? Really? That makes no sense at all. That tire is going to have horrible performance, or some teams are going to use it to decrease the number of pitstops even more than previously.

The drive to increase safety is fine; no-one wants to see death or serious injuries. However, from what Iāve seen no-one in the paddock is really happy with the Halo solution and especially not with how late it was forced on them. The additional camera view is great, but you could have found other places to put cameras.
As for the tyres, totally with you on the hard compounds. Itās pretty pointless at this stage. The other side of the spectrum is just as silly; supersoft, ultrasoft, hypersoftā¦ Just get rid of superhard and hard, then rename medium to hard, soft to medium, supersoft to soft, ultrasoft to supersoft, and hypersoft to ultrasoft. That seems slightly less ridiculous.

i have to agree with some of the people, Alonso is bored of F1, I have a gut feeling this is his last year. if Mclaren cannot give him a proper car, he will be leaving for something else.

I just hope the competition is close this year. The more people are capable of winning races, the better. Iām even silently hoping that McLaren will pull one out of the bag, and manage to sneak a win or two somewhere if that Renault gels well with their new chassis.
I honestly wouldnt bank on it. But who knows. I hope that the packs will be closer together this year.
