Miami Grand Prix 2022
The inaugural Miami Grand Prix is here. The hip is going to hop and the razz is going to matazz all weekend long. More neon in one place than Eskom could ever hope to power. More bling than a 35-year old Greek divorcee at the club. More plastic in chests and lips and butts than at the Pikitup recycling plant. More crypto.com logos than a Fourways bru has on his Beemer. More stars, artists, and celebrities with as much real interest in F1 as there is real water in the Miami International Autodrome Marina. You get the idea.
Hopefully, despite all the noise, weāll also get to see a decent motor race. From the little weāve seen of the circuit so far, with its two long straights and three DRS zones, thereās a decent number of overtaking zones. And with the flowing complex of turns from T2 through to the long and tightening T7-T8 plus the twisty bit at the end of Sector 2 (T11 - T16), the racing could be good.
American East coast times mean all the weekendās action is in the late evening for us here - hopefully your load isnāt going to be shed at all the wrong times. #ThanksEskom

Dude weāre on the same Load Shedding schedule it seems. I have the same problem, but at least the UPS on my fibre keeps my internet going so I can stream the race.

F1 donāt use much in the way of electricity 
I sincerely donāt think the Eskom woes would influence the decision too much. Itās relatively easy to plan and account for power disruptions with sufficient backup.
If it ever realises, the race wonāt come to ZA before probably 2025, so definitely donāt hold your breath.
