Its unexpected cos I really didnt think they would bring hulk back again. I was hoping they would give the kid another season
Hulk is 35, is not worth trying to build Mick for another year
See I like Hulk, but its been his time and now we need the youngsters
I guess they’re hoping for a comeback like Magnussen’s.
Crash: Ted Kravitz sides with Verstappen: “He’s not interested” in Perez.
Ted has some wild takes lately.
I feel like he is just trying to rebuild the bridge he burnt down.
Haas tried the youngster thing, now they want to build their profile up again.
I hope Mick gets a shot somewhere else though. Alfa full right?
The only unconfirmed seats were Williams (depending on Logan Sargeant getting his super licence) and Haas (which seems to be occupied but not officially)
I nearly got angry at Lando… But then I read the whole article.
I agree, I am not a fan of the sprint race formula
Yeah so Mick is out. oof. hope he makes a comback in 2024. maybe reserve driver somewhere at least(Ferarri also dropped him for Robert Swartzman, maybe Mick isn’t actually that good? but he was F2 champion so I assumed as much).
Mick Schumacher is a perfectly mediocre F1 driver. Though he is an F2 champion, he did so on his second attempt and got some lucky breaks during that season. And besides, almost everyone on the grid is either an F2 or F3 champion, so that does not really guarantee to be a great F1 driver.
The problem with Mick is, he is driving well below the expectation that his surname carries, and while it is no fault of his own, it is a burden he has to carry. And he does not live up to that hype. He is also the most destructive driver on the grid, having more crashes and causing more financial losses due to damage than any driver on the grid for the last 2 seasons already. That coupled with wildly inconsistent performances each Saturday and Sunday means that he is more of a liability for a team than he should be.
On a good day, he is a fairly capable driver in a sport where nothing short of spectacular is expected, and I’m afraid he just does not have what it takes to become a great F1 driver.
I would say he should take the L, and go and race for Ferrari in the new LMH class in WEC. The new Ferrari Hyper car looks amazing and the WEC is sure to see a resurgence due to the influx of new sponsors and new manufacturers. Who knows he could always go out and win Le Mans with the Ferrari team. But F1 is not his future.
IMHO
Well of course your uncle’s gotta have your back.
Lol thought the same when I saw this
“Ralf’s such a silly fooken vanker.”
Gunter Steiner, probably.
One thing Ralf does understand is the pressure that the Schumacher name brings and how being a decent, but not phenomenal driver is therefore not good enough.
Another poorly translated article, this time from Gazetta in Italy. The “suggestion” (immediately denied by Ferrari) is that Binotto is out and Freddie Vasseur will take over as Team Principal in January 2023.
This is always what people say before it actually happens. Same happened with Cyril
“without foundation” ≠ “totally false”
