Team Stroll is no surprises.
At least they left the taking to Perez for the most part. But even during the interview they mentioned how Stroll’s daddy owns part of the team
Yeah I think it’ll remain pink as long as BWT is their main sponsor.
best heading ever
Alfa in its camo colours:
Mclaren is still orange with more blue
The hideous nose is still there, but at least they’re trying to hide it a bit now.
Also, crazy bargeboard detail.
could be the lighting, but that looks very orange
Yeah, found it strange to not be “rosso corsa”
I think its a combination of matte red and weird lighting
I might be imagining this, but the merc nose seems more wing-like than the other cars
Wow how did I miss the Ferarri launch Yeah looks very neat. Also they made the Halo black. I guess last year’s car was very red.
And so, the time has come, the opening curtain…
The launches are done (mostly), the cars are liveried up (sort of), the drivers are suited and booted (almost). Yip, it’s about time to start your engines and get back into the F1 groove.
The 2019 Formula One season makes its official track return today for the first of two 4-day Test Sessions at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Here’s the Driver schedule for this week (subject to change as and when Lewis feels ill or someone’s rich daddy decides differently😀)
The blank space next to Williams today is not an error:
They’d already cancelled the shakedown they had planned for Saturday, and now Williams have confirmed they will miss the opening day of pre-season testing in Barcelona on Monday.**
The Grove-based team say the brand-new Mercedes-powered FW42, which was revealed via digital renderings on Friday, will not be ready to run until Tuesday morning.
Deputy Team Principal Claire Williams admitted the situation was far from ideal, but that the squad was determined to maximise the remaining track time at their disposal.
“Unfortunately, we have had to delay the start of our pre-season Barcelona test to Tuesday morning,” she said.
Interestingly, they’ve also chosen to use Nicholas Latifi (their un-superlicensed reserve driver) as much as their 2 new race drivers as they “maximize the remaining track time”.
Wow that’s a bad start for Williams!
Yaaaay! @GregRedd summaries are back, feels like everything has returned to normal.
Cannot wait to see who is quick and who got it wrong. A shake-up in the pecking order would be very cool.
That is kind of disappointing from Williams, I expected it from Mclaren, not them
