Jorge Martin has clocked the fastest ever MotoGP speed: 368,6 km/h! On two wheels. And the team boss thinks he may even be able to hit over 370+ before the end of this weekends GP.
Brad the Lad is heading to World Super Bikes next year after his KTM MotoGP contract expires. He’ll take up a seat on the factory BMW alongside old KTM MotoGP teammate, Miguel Oliveira.
WSBK, From MotoGP to Superbike: BMW chose Brad Binder for 2027 | GPOne
Sad that he never got to ride a MotoGP Grand Prix in South Africa. Guess we’re going to have to find somewhere to watch the WSBK races now. And quietly hope that the next round of Kyalami upgrades will take FIM requirements into consideration too.
I believe that is also where his brother Darryn went to, innit?
Will be interesting to see how he fares on the Superbikes, very different machines, though also very entertaining. I’ll definitely be watching more of it now.
Thanks for sharing.
Nah. Darryn went to the US and is doing very well in the MotoAmerica series. He is competing in the Super Sport Class (the second tier) for Ducati and is currently leading that class with (I think) only 2 or 3 more events to go. Either way, by all reports he’s having a great debut season there and if they haven’t already, I’m sure Ducati America would love to keep him. Maybe even put him into the bigger Super Bike class.
