That show is kinda creepy, especially since we expect silly and it’s so serious. Paul rudd is creepy!
I’ve also started Dopesick, brilliant show.
Arcane I’ve done the first three episodes it’s decent. Not a huge fan of this style of show

loving this series its so good and its just a plus im a leauge fan
Exactly this. It’s so disconcerting, isn’t it? I watched the first episode and I’m still not sure what to think of it all. There’s some dark twisted shit going to happen, that’s for sure.
I’m really enjoying Arcane so far, even though I know or care nothing about the game.
I finished Hellbound recently - wild concept with relatable, human drama. Worth a watch imo.
Finally finished Foundation season 1. As someone who didn’t even finish the first book, I took it as just another sci-fi show. The start was slow, but I couldn’t stop watching by episode 4. It is a wopping 50mins an episode, so that translates into a what I thought would be a slow burn sci-fi. Thankfully it wasn’t. I did numerous 180 degrees on favourite characters, as they connived their way to get what they want. We need more sci-fi that isn’t some well established franchise. This was a breath of fresh air.
I totally agree with you, we need more like this.
I’ve been binge watching Bosch for the last 2 weeks, at the final episode of Season 6 then I only have Season 7 left. I didn’t even know the show existed despite having read a couple of the books it was based on. The show is really good. Just a no nonsense detective drama. Great cast as well, Titus Wellever kills it as Harry Bosch.
A limited series based on Emily St. John Mandel’s international bestseller, Station Eleven is a post-apocalyptic saga that follows survivors of a devastating flu as they attempt to rebuild and reimagine the world anew while holding on to the best of what’s been lost.
Stars Joe Pingue, Mackenzie Davis, Danielle Deadwyler, Himesh Patel, David Wilmot.
Streaming from 16 December on HBO Max.
I hope the show is better than the book…
Never read it. Was it not good? Didn’t it win a few awards?
Not sure if it won anything, I read it, it left me wanting. It was not very cohesive, I can already see they changed a lot from the book to the show, hopefully that rescues it.
The biggest mistake the book made was the jumps in time, past and present was very confusing and I still have no idea why it was needed.
I love Jack Reacher (the character) and absolutely hated Tom Cruise in the roll. This looks way more on point!
I only know the character from the Tom Cruise movies but I’ve seen on Reddit people say in the books he’s described as over 6ft and 200 pounds, which Cruise definitely is not. I recently re-watched Blue Mountain State and it’s weird seeing Alan Ritchson go from Thad Castle to this badass character but I’m looking forward to it.
I’m convinced Sam Elliott time travels between the real old west and the TV version.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all.
